Scholarship Opportunity at Youngstown State
Posted: Fri Jan 19, 2024 7:32 pmLast year, I announced the scholarship at Youngstown State established in the name of my parents. Today, I signed the paperwork at the YSU Foundation which activated that scholarship; seniors this year who are attending YSU in the fall can apply. This is a year earlier than I had anticipated! The value of the scholarship should be $1000. In future years, as the endowment grows, I hope to expand this to two awards.
Instructions on how to apply for YSU Foundation scholarships are available at https://cfweb.cc.ysu.edu/finaid/ysuf/ys ... cation.cfm. Students need to act quickly as the application deadline is February 1.
Please note that I have no role in selecting the winner.

PS -- I still intend on holding a tournament on April 13 at Brookfield (my dad's alma mater) to raise funds for this scholarship.
